This will include undertaking broadcast operations, installations and servicing ofbroadcast systems in transmission areas and in studios.SPECIFIC DUTIES•Working with producers and performers about the desired production sound.•Prepare for live recording sessions, placing microphones and other recording equipment and using computersto program equipment.•May be required to record speech and music, or reproduce or copy sound recordings, synchronize dialogue,music and sound effects with visual and combine sounds during mixing or postproduction•Keep records of the gear used in specific recordings•Set up and take down special equipment for sessions•Report equipment problems such as broken kit componentsPROGRAM CONTROLLERThis role is responsible for leading programming teams on the radio station, ensuring that they produceprogramming which meets the creative and commercial needs of the station.
