Rowan Ellis 4/20/16 Urinetown: The Musical – Show Review I walked into the Hofhimer Theatre at Virginia Weslyan College with high hopes. I had never seen Urinetown or listened intently to the music before. My first impression of the show however, didn’t take place in the theatre, it took place in the lobby outside. I had previously gone to the small table to pay for my ticket, and as I approached the doors, I held out my hand expecting to receive a program from one of the girls passing them out, yet instead, I got a confused look, then the side view of a college freshman chatting and giggling with her friends. Inside the theatre was foggy because of fog machines that were being used and resided above the middle asile of the house on a platform where the spotlights and the people controlling them go. It was cool at first, but it often obscured my view during the show and before the show, so much so that I could barely tell that Alexander Mason and Mike Hilton were on the other side of the theatre! I sat with them far house right and we had a great view of the set which was very well
