Unit 3 Assignment: Team Assignment You have an opportunity to work with your classmates as teams. The ability to interact and solve problems together — even at a distance — is a key skill in today's business environment. You have been assigned to a Team (i.e., depending on course enrolment, a five or six person group working as a team) to answer the Case Assignment instructions below. One person from the group is to turn in the Assignment for the group in the Dropbox. Each person in the group must turn in their individual peer evaluations to their Dropbox to receive credit for the Assignment. Peer evaluation forms are found in Doc Sharing and will be individually submitted in addition to the one group submission of the case analysis. Supplemental Resource (not required) : This eText can be found from the KU Online Library link located on the left navigation under Course Home in your course, located under the reading list: Lipsinger, R., & DeRosa, D. (2010). Virtual team success: A practical guide for working and leading from a distance . Hoboken, NJ: John Wiley & Sons, Inc. can be a very helpful resource for this, and subsequent virtual team projects. Please note the sections on social loafing (pages 67-68, 78-88). Pages 76, 107 and 138 are helpful Reference Guides intended to help you troubleshoot your virtual team. Optional Guideline Experience has shown the following U3 timeline to be helpful. Please don’t feel constrained by this time line, you can come up with your own. Unit 3: Wednesday—Greet each other in the Team Discussion Board Unit 3: Thursday---Determine who will lead the project, who will do which parts, by when, what your communication expectations are and when you will be meeting next. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
