A positive work environment is expected. Work ethic is one of the factors that contribute to a
positive workplace. Many employers value a strong work ethic, which allows employees to

A good work ethic reflects certain values and behaviors. Responsible, cooperative and
productive are examples. If employees are productive, they can use their time more effectively.
They usually work more than they are asked to and are very productive. Cooperators are willing
to do whatever is asked of them without being criticized. They are also able to work as part of a
team and offer help when needed. Responsibility is important in all areas of life, including the
workplace. People who take responsibility for their actions and work to solve the problems they
cause are examples of people with a strong sense of responsibility.
Positive employees come from a positive work environment. If employees are happy with their
jobs, they enjoy coming to work. This joy leads to commitment and loyalty to the company.
