TESP 43 Tarimo April 16, 2008 Evolution of The Catholic Social Thought The Catholic Social Thought is ever evolving. The idea of the “Catholic Social Thought” began in a dynamic time, where everything was constantly moving forward. The teachings of the church focus on the lessons Jesus Christ has taught through the scripture about the welfare of the disadvantaged. The church does not follow political ideologies, while putting emphasis on the person. Through all of this the church we are able to see the church is in fact influenced by the world and it’s changes, but it has the ability to discern what must be left behind by reflection. Dealing mostly with political and economic systems, the changes came to be through many different methods. Although there are different methods in teaching and finding teachings, the teachings come from a couple main and very reliable sources. The most inalienable of these sources is of course the bible.
