Structure Bennett, 2012 The Personalization of civic opinions: Political Identification, Social Media, and Changing trends of involvement. From the American Academy of Political and Social Science. Social identification, effective sharing of information, more involvement, rational thinking, and increased comprehension. In this article, the author focuses on the individualization brought about by the social network. It is evident that trends have increasingly changed from grouped based politics. People tend to participate in forums, campaigns, and political rallies from the comfort of their homes through various links in social media; unlike earlier on where masses had to gather or attend a forum to get political information. Nowadays one has to analysis political information on their own and makes an independent decision. Thus the main idea of this text is essential for supporting the argument of my essay. Social media encourages individual based approach on political views, opinion, choices, and decisions. Bode, 2015.
