Log for Flavio Rocha Feb 28 Today I turned in the Exploratory Essay. Feb 29 – March 1 st I began thinking of topics for my next essay. I took notes in class to help me further my understanding of my essays and how I could improve upon them. March 2 nd – March 10 th Began reading certain parts of the book to help me revise essays and improve them. I free wrote some of the log tasks and compared how the writers who wrote some of these short stories write to my writing. Obviously they had more skill, but I began to look at how I could write to their standards. This helped me improve a lot of aspects of my writing I did not think needed to be improved. March 11 th I met with the professor and asked how I could improve my writing. She explained to me that some of my essays were too wordy. I agreed, but the fact that the essays ask for a limit on how many words you need promoted the idea of wordiness. She suggested that I take all the wordiness and add new facts to the essays which I felt really helped me expand
