Fishman’s book China, Inc. he states that, “If any country is going to supplant the United States in the world marketplace, China is it.” Over the past three decades China has grown to be the most populous country in the world, with the second largest economy and is growing at an exponential rate. Every business in the world wants a piece of the Chinese market. The problem is how? After World War II, the Chinese Communist Party had gained control and put in place strict controls over China’s economy and society. Over time they have become a little more lenient, but still regulate most things coming in and out of China, censorship of the internet being one of them. For Google this is a major problem, everything that is sent into the country is censored by “the great firewall of China”. Google clearly states through its mission statement that they emphasize “an
