Paper#1 ILHAM BUHARIE EGR 402 04/15/08 My name is Ilham Buharie, and I am a senior in electrical engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. I am a citizen of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri-Lanka, and was born in the city of Colombo. I grew up in the middle-east, and moved back to Sri-Lanka at the age of 18 to attend junior college. After two years in the Paradise Island, I transferred to California State University, Chico in fall 2005, and attended classes there for three semesters, before transferring to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in winter 2007. I plan to graduate at the end of spring 2008, and will probably reward myself with a month long stay with friends and family back home, before I resume work at AES Automation in Anaheim. My plan is to work in industry for a couple of years before pursuing my Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an option in either bio-medical engineering or radio-frequency, and communication systems. My ultimate goal is to run a free-spirited engineering firm
