Archie 1 Raquel Archie Leona Antoine English 090 August 30, 2016 Journals Journal 1: How was your first day? August 9 Well, my first day here was when my family and I came down to the school for a visit. At first I was excited to be away from home and to be on my own. Then, came the day when I got dropped off. I got dropped off by my older sister and brother. They went shopping with me and dropped me off so fast. But, they began to cry, which made me cry. But, right as of now, I miss my family a lot! I should’ve never said that I wanted to be away from home, but here I am, at Haskell living my dream of playing college volleyball. Volleyball is probably the best thing right now because I don’t play with all the stress, it just goes all away. But it’s only temporary, I can’t wait to go back home for my winter break! I get to be with my family. But today is only the second day of classes so I have to be tough and push through, into getting my AA degree, then I can head back home. But who knows, I’ll maybe stay here for four years.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
