Courtroom Players Response A courtroom work group is considered to be the prosecutor, district attorney, and the judicial officer. The interaction between the courtroom work group is essential in today’s court room. Without a system such as this and their agreement to work together, the case load would pile up and overwhelm even a seasoned veteran. The prosecutor’s main role is to assist the court to arrive at the truth and to do justice between the community and the accused according to law and the dictates of fairness. The prosecutor is supposed to pursue the cases which benefit the public the most. Prosecutors are in a political field.
