Dates and Time (1) Months 一月 二月 三月 四月 五月 六月 七月 八月 九月 十月 十一月 十二月 (2) Days of the month 日 is used to refer to the days of the month in written Chinese. However, in spoken Chinese 號 is used. For example: 三月六日(written) 三月六號 (spoken) (3)Days of the week 星期一 星期二 星期三 星期四 星期五 星期六 星期日(天) (4) Words Order for Dates To give a date in Chinese, we always progress from larger to smaller unit: 年 月 日 星期 e.g. 一九八七年三月六日 星期六 (5) Telling Time 八點(鐘) 十點五分 七點一刻 兩點半 十二點三刻 差十分六點 2.
