Introduction:According to Newton’s third Law of Motion, whenever one body exerts force on another,the second body exerts a force on the first that is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. The objective of this experiment was to verify the principle of conservation of momentum by using gliders to show that final momentum is equal and opposite to the initial momentum. The equipment we used was the air track with two gliders.
