1. How does the sitcom adhere, or rebel against the time period in which it was written? For example, if it is from the 1960s, are there any supernatural elements to it? I decided to analyze one of the most popular sitcoms “Friends”. The first season came out in 1994. I think it adheres to the time period of the 1990s by depicting themes of independent living, relationship issues, choice making, and importance of friendship. However, it includes such topic as children adaption by lesbian couples. This way it rebels against society laws of that time period. The theme of the show is friends and workplace. 2. A synopsis of the episode using action words. For example, “Ricky SAYS Lucy can’t be in the show” is not acceptable. However, “Ricky rejects Lucy” is acceptable. Ross terminated his marriage with Carol who appeared to be a lesbian. She is currently pregnant and plans to raise a child with her lesbian partner. Ross`s friends Chandler, Joey, Phoebe, and his sister Monica support him. At the moment, Rachel, dressed up in the wedding dress, comes to the café to tell her high school friend Monica that she broke up with her fiancé right at the wedding.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
