Joshua Sipe Non-verbal Rules I Feelings and Description: A. When we were told that we had to do break a non-verbal rule I was optimistic because I thought that it would be fun and I have broken non-verbal rules in the past just for a good laugh. I didn’t think that this exercise was going to be hard or even a little bit challenging. Even though it didn’t seem hard I thought that I would enjoy myself breaking the common rules of society that people follow so closely. When this was assigned in class I knew that I was going to have fun with this exercise and looked forward to coming up with an exciting rule breaker. B. Class started like every class where people came in and took their seats and waited for the instructor to begin the lesson. After the class was settled we started just discussing a few minor points of communication and language. After a while of talking about communication and non-verbal rules a sheet was handed out labeled “Breaking Nonverbal Rules.” The class was told that we had to break nonverbal rules that
