You will need a Bluebook (or two) and you will need towrite in ink. The midterm will consist of two parts.Part I will be worth 40% and will consist of identifications. I will give you eightterms. They will be prominent (I promise not obscure) names, events, etc. such as“Nuremberg Laws,” “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” etc.You will have to writeon FOUR. You will write a paragraph on each identification term you choose,which identifies, DATES,and provides the broader significanceof the term inquestion. It will not be enough to have just one or two of those elements or just towrite a couple of sentences. Each answer should be a substantial paragraph thatincludes all three elements.Part II is an essay worth 60%.I will provide two of the essays below on the actualtest, and you will choose ONE on which to write.An essay is an argument.
