The results obtained from the original absorbance readings were not valid due to some unknown error. This error caused two of the data points to have much higher absorbance readings than would be expected. Most likely, this error was the result of switching some of the solutions. The error could also have been a result of incorrect use of the spectrometer. For example, switching the cuvet between samples or inserting the cuvet the wrong way could explain the errors. This last possibility is especially likely, as it would explain why two data points had their absorbance readings significantly increased.
