THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DOCUMENT YOU SHOULD PRINT THIS FOR QUICK REFERENCE These are the course requirements by which your grade will be determined. 1. Chapter Activities - there are 12 chapters that you will be responsible for reading. For each chapter there will be different types of assignments that you will be responsible for completing. The assignments will be in the form of questions, short activities and what your author calls "Applications and Misapplication" which are generally problem situations looking for answers. There are a total of 53 (some chapters have more than others) of these and each will be worth 10 points for a total of 530 points. 2. Behavior Change Project - Since this course focuses on applying the principles of behavior change, it seems that a behavior change project would be an appropriate activity. The project will be composed of 6 components: a) Behavioral Assessment - this is a narrative describing the background of the person and the behavior that you would like to work on changing. It should include a description of the individual's environment (physical and social/personal), detailed description of the specific behavior, the conditions/environments in which the behavior is exhibited, who supports the behavior, the consequences of the behavior, and the consequences that would result if the behavior were changed. (100 points) b) Baseline 1 - a baseline is a frequency count of the behavior being studied. The
