The child that I have chosen is a boy, Guillermo, which he is turning nine months old on September 26. Recently, his parents got separated and they don’t live together, which means that he spends most of the time with his mom, Maribel. They live at Omaha, Nebraska, in an apartment which Maribel and Guillermo live by themselves. However, he gets to see his dad every weekend from Saturday to Monday, and on weekdays he spends with mom. He is Hispanic, more specifically, Mexican because of his mom and dad. Right now he is growing up surrounded with Spanish language, because his mom wants him to be full fluent on Spanish. In addition, she also wants him to be fluent in English as well, making him bilingual. She really wants him to grow up learning both cultures and be comfortable in them.
