Travis Marziani Psychology 235 December 10, 2007 Extra Credit Movie Analysis Superbad and Gender Roles The Movie Superbad is a movie about two best friends Seth and Evan, that are seniors planning to leave for college soon. The two of them get invited to a huge party, they agree to buy the alcohol and decide that night is the night for both of them to get lucky. . They get their friend Fogell, well not quite friend but acquaintance to agree to buy them alcohol with his fake idea. Well Fogell is going to buy alcohol the store gets robbed and police come and end up taking Fogell on a wild adventure with them. The Two friends end up going to another party trying to get Alcohol, and trouble ensues. They finally get to the party and the same cops that took Fogell around with them end up coming to the party and breaking it up. In the end Seth and Evan meet the two girls that they liked at the mall and go their separate ways with their respective girls. This Movie is full of gender stereotypes and gender rolled behaviors.
