Travis Marziani Psychology 235 PP Paper # 4 Women and Gender Ch.3 and Masculine Self Ch.3 1. In chapter three it keeps repeating how the old studies were pretty much all men and usually white men that were in college and fairly well off. I have never thought about this before but it makes sense, I don’t think the researchers did this on purpose, however where do most of these type of studies take place. They take place in colleges and back then especially the people that were in colleges were college males and white, and of course well off. I think they probably would have spent way to much time trying to recruit women and people of different ethnic backgrounds. 2. In chapter 2 it keeps talking about androcentric and other forms of that word but what exactly is this. Im pretty sure this is a very important par of this chapter but for some reason I never really figured out what it meant 3. I found the fact that women valued there work less then men did. Im talking about that study
