Unformatted text preview: 2-6-06Spray Paint ArtThis spray paint art by Diaz portrays an all seeing eye gazing on a city in the middle of the universe. This piece is in my bedroom and was a gift my parents gave to my boyfriend that they had made while they were in Mexico. This is a very serious piece of art and the eye appears to be looking over the city, but watching the viewer as well. This work is a view of the artists religious universe. It portrays God, Jesus, Heaven and Earth.The artist, Diaz, created this piece with spray paint, newspaper and a coffee can. It was made in the spring of 2005 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The triangle is a common shape throughout the piece, in different sizes and angles, always pointing upwards. The colors are all very earthy, mostly in brown and orange with the exception of the body of water.
