Geography 1001-017 Weather Diary 3/12/2007 Wednesday, February 21, 2007 Boulder, Colorado Today was such an incredible day. The temperature, according to www.weather.com was a warm 60 deg F. There was a light breeze, and compared to the past few days, the wind was howling. All of the snow on the ground has melted. Later in the day some clouds were apparent. Cirrus clouds, the wispy ones, which happen to be my favorite clouds, were spread out all across the sky. Currently there is a low-pressure system headed our way. The sunny days are going to leave us, but as for today it was nice, not too hot, and just right with a few cumulus and cirrus clouds floating around. According to www.weather.com a low-pressure system is sitting directly over northern Colorado, Boulder included, with precipitation beginning. The low- pressure system is being followed by a strong cold front, which is supposed to bring great amounts of snow to western Colorado. On a temperature map, it is completely apparent
