Brief Executive Summary: CEC Enterprises was founded in 1997 by Cameron Corbin in Cedar Park,  Texas. The business began during Corbin’s days as a youth minister as a small  weekend project. Since its inception the company has expanded from a single moon  walk rented out on weekends, to a full-fledge enterprise with locations in two major  Texas cities and current expansion plans for franchising throughout the United  States. CEC Enterprises is now comprised of three divisions: Jeremiah 2911, which  handles franchising; Sock Hop, which handles consumer rentals; and Inflatable  Wonderland, the retail stores currently located in San Antonio and Austin malls. During the initial development of CEC Enterprises no information systems  were put into action.  The nature of the business was small; therefore, a focus on  Information Technology was unnecessary.  However, due to the rapid growth of the  organization and the importance of technology in today’s business environment  CEC Enterprises’ President Corbin has begun the process of employing new  information technology. A new real-time point-of-sale system, off-site automatically  updated servers, and a new pay-roll system will all increase the efficiency and  effectiveness of the organization for both the consumers and the employees.  Organizational Chart: - 3 -
