Keller and B. Warrack and the booklet “Problem Sets for Math 218.” Syllabus: We will be covering most of chapters 6 through 12. Assignments and Graded Work: Homework: Homework will not be collected or graded. However, to succeed in the course you must attempt all the recommended problems. Many of these problems will be discussed in the TTh discussion sections. Computer Labs: There will be two or three Minitab assignments. Quizzes: There will be a quiz most Thursdays (starting 1/22) in discussion sections. Exams: There will be two in-class midterms and a final exam. You will be permitted to bring a calculator and one one sheet of 8 1 2 × 11 (both sides) written in your own handwriting to tests.
