Anne Frank was most known for her life story in the book, The Diary of Anne Frank. Although Emily Dickinson and Anne Frank were born in different centuries, both of these women suffered pain in their lives. Emily suffered the pain and grief of losing loved ones during her youth and she struggled because she felt so different than other women. Anne suffered but in a different way, she along with her family had to go into hiding during the Holocaust and this caused her great suffering followed later by her death.
