In this activity, you will identify personal communication barriers you may use in
relationships, explore characteristics of healthy relationships and issues connected to
teen dating violence.

Read and identify the manner in which you communicate

blaming others.
I look for nonverbal meanings behind
words said.

am emotional.
I speak overly loud to get attention or

I use hand gestures when I speak.
When I am angry, I speak with actions

know what is being said.
