I’ll send out an email every Tuesday evening about what we’re going to discuss on the next day.  Read the assignment ahead and attend the discussion section on time and with your textbooks.  Laptops are not allowed to be used in the discussion sections. All you need to bring is a pen and  your textbooks. I’ll hand out a worksheet every week, which we’ll work on together in the  discussion sections.  2. Grading Policy of Discussion Sections:  (a) Attendance is required at all discussion section meetings. Roll will be taken. (b) After the first unexcused absence from discussion section,  your final grade for the course  will be docked by three percentage points for each absence .  Three such absences would  drop you from a  90  to an  81 .  On the positive side, if your final grade is on the broader line
