MODULE 8 WRITTEN EXERCISE 2
Abstract
FBI agents work along with the JTTF (Florida Joint Terrorism Task Force) to investigate terrorist
organizations. In this fictional scenario, FBI Agent Timothy Johnson (“Johnson”) and Miami-
Dade Police Detective Mike Warner (“Warner”) have been assigned to conduct an investigation
of a possible bomb threat at the DRMC Convention. The FBI office received an anonymous
phone call, later found to be made by Trisha McCleod, several weeks before the DRNC National
Convention. Trisha McCleod (“Trisha”) and her boyfriend, Christopher Sanchez (“Chris”) were
being investigated concerning their alleged involvement in a bombing plot at the convention.
Three questions are being asked in this paper, which deal with their investigation, interrogation,
and convictions, all of which are enumerated and answered in the body of the paper. This paper
will use a few references from court cases, to illustrate how the law relates to the relevant
answers. And finally, this paper will incorporate Saint Leo University’s Core value of
community that applies to this fictional scenario.
