Tamacas 1 Fernando Tamacas Dr. Lilia Raquel Rosas CULF 1320 February, 10, 2017 Socialization Paper Does socialization refer to the ways in which people learn to conform to their society? Nowadays things are just like that. The meaning of socialization according to the dictionary is the process in which the person learns different aspects of life interacting with other people from his or her environment. Every individual relates to the other people and makes all decisions in accordance with the principle “we influence those who is influencing us”. Each person should be acquainted with the rules of the social group he/she belongs to. A social group may be a family, friends, school, place of work, etc. Socialization is the process when the person lives in strict accordance with the way of life that society leads. The influence of socialization becomes obvious in everything. This process includes all aspects of everyday life, such as: principles, values, rules of life and goals people set up and share with each other. Being socialized means being aware of everything. But what happens when a person deviates or challenges the non-stipulated but present rules in which people socialize in a certain group or society? Does this person receive a punishment from their group or society? Or things continue being just as they always are? When I was in school, I had a classmate who seemed different from everyone else, not in his appearance, but in his behavior and way of acting.
Tamacas 2 I studied in a small school, approximately of three hundred students. It is a place where when something happens, all the people in the institution realize what is going on immediately. It is a place where the gossips spread fast from person to person, and if you do not take care of what you do, you'll be in everyone’s mouth very fast.
