Alice Walker “Everyday use” 2 1. She is a colored woman brought up in a farm whose life experiences have made her tough that she can be able to carry out even the duties that belonged to a man, for example, she once knocked a bull calf straight I the brain between the eyes with a sledge hammer. She never had a decent education as the school she went to was closed down after second grade. She has two daughters, Dee and Maggie who had two opposite personalities. 2. I do not trust the narrator. This is because she is presenting the events based on her own feelings and thoughts with regard to her experience in life and her perception about how things are. For example, she refers to her yard being more comfortable than most people would know. She says it is not just a yard and that it’s like an extended living room. This shows how her thoughts are based only around what she knows and what she has seen in her life.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
