Cai, Qian Qian 10/26/2016 p.237 #1, 5 1.The policy I recommend for companies regarding employees spending time on their personal social media account is to encourage productive use of social media. This means as technology are taking over in consumers’ lives, companies can promote and develop marketing strategies on social media websites to increase revenues. Employees can work on their Facebook or Twitter tasks which they are challenged and interested. This can be enforced because it helps the social media internet use of the company to be productive, and develops the company to be more technology advanced to attract more customers. “Work experience Application” I work at retail store where phones are prohibited; we are not allowed to have a phone on us at the selling area. This company policy actually works the reverse way because now employees are hiding their phones in the pocket, or pretending going to the bathroom for sometime to be on their phone.
