Madison Stoltzfus 2/18/15 Professor Hodge Assignment #2 – Contracts 1. Pangaro’s Press is not obligated to sell the presses to Nicole for $1 million because even though Nicole accepted the offer, the mode of acceptance was not specified to her. A change in the proposal (a rejection in this case) by the offeree is allowed and is called a counteroffer. The acceptance of the offer must be made after the original offer by the offeree to ensure full acceptance of a contract. In this case, there was no contract formed. Therefore, the price governing the press would be $1.2 million. Nicole also left an open-ended response on voicemail, stating at the end, “Call me so we can discuss details.” This means that the contract was not finalized and therefore the offeree can counter his original offer for any reason. Nicole is not required to accept the new offer. 2.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
