and time to ensure it is to the standards needed and expected of by the clients served by a hospital. Many factors must be taken into account to ensure that all systems work together and work properly. There are different topologies for networks to use. Different topologies have different benefits depending on their uses and the need to keep them running smoothly. The different topologies are mesh, ring, tree, hybrid, bus and star topologies. For Health Systems, INC would be a STAR topology. Star topologies are common due to the ease of network maintenance and the ability to easily add devices to the network (Contributor, 2019). Star topologies are a great option due to their setup. When one node goes down the rest are not affected. This will be very beneficial to the hospital network. It ensures that when one node is down, the others can function and the whole network isn’t down.
