Nietzsche 3. Gen o M= historical origin of the standards we might use to direct our action and beliefs B. Criticism of jews/ Christians relate to this how? Priests are evil enemies bc they are powerless and their hate “swells into something huge.. poisonous” Jews and Christians are “priestly people” victorious revolt in which their flipped morality in order to gain satisfaction w enemies/conquerors. Reinforces his claim that morality is brought about by people in an effort to overthrow power, revenge, power. Slave morality says no to itself. Noble, powerful, don’t need to look at others to be happy/form morality. Slaves do, can’t separate happiness from action, slaves happiness is passive C. This acts as a poison to the noble man. Tame man. Wastes away with passivity. We grow tired of man bc we don’t fear man. b/c we don’t fear we don’t love him. Self denying. Playing dead. Freedom of choice is a lie derived by weak against powerful.
