Examine the curve that describes Japan. Assume that an American Company will open a plant in Japan and plans to have supervisors be sympathetic and nurturing to employees. What does Hofstede’s theory of culture say about the probable success or failure of that plan? Justify your answer. Hofstede’s theory of culture explains the probable success of plan for an American company to be successful on Japan the supervisors must possess specific nurturing behaviors to meet the needs of the local behaviors and culture of the employees. The supervisors must Identify what would be best practice and procedures that will influence the employees to be productive and always keep in mind that one cannot implement western work culture and behaviors in Japan because it will not work.
