Temporary because you can skip to any spot. For doing Calculations. - Central processing unit. The brains for the computer. Decision maker! The motherboard = 2 or the 3 components, the CPU and RAM, are located on the Motherboard. The hard disk is a peripheral device, though usually installed in the case. Bit = 1 bit Value 0 or 1 Nibble = 4 Bits value 0 through 15 Byte = 8bits value through 255 or -128 through 127 Kilobit = 1000bits
