Synopsis Albert Bandura was born on December 4, 1925 in a small town in Alberta, Canada Bandura’s parents inspired him to seek adventure outside of the small town, after graduating high school he went to work in Yukon He later credited his work in the Tundra to his interest in psychopathology In 1949 Bandura arrived in the U.S and married Virginia Varns in 1952, they raised two daughters together

Synopsis Continued Bandura’s most famous experiment is the Bobo Doll Experiment The Bobo Doll studied children’s behavior after watching an adult model act aggressively towards a Bobo doll Bandura tested 36 boys and 36 girls, ages 3-6 years old Stage 1: 24 children watched a male or female act aggressively towards the Bobo doll, another 24 children watched a model play with the doll in a quiet and subdued manner, the final 24 children were not exposed to any model at all
