As our economy descends deeper into the recession, it seems that gas prices are rising to insane and outrageous heights. And unfortunately, it does not seem like they will be getting lower anytime soon. Consumers will have security in knowing that gas prices will be the same no matter where you go and can plan for long road trips and cross-country vacationing. Companies can also plan for the future and with a fixed gas price, they can factor in the cost of transportation of goods which will benefit the process of calculating their finances. If the government were to set a fixed gas price, it would ensure consumers that prices will not fluctuate or suddenly spike from one week to the next. As a result, people will be less financially conscious about how often they go out, whether it is a casual trip to the movies or a long vacationing trip to another state. A fixed gas price will allow people to control their spending more freely in that aspect without the worry of spending $2.40 for gas in Miami and then an insane price of $3.25 in St. Augustine.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
