Globally, this is average. Canada is ranked the 26 th highest in the world. Eastern Europe have the highest rates The person who did the CVD study on Type A vs. Type B personalities was a cardiologist and not a psychologist The problem is that Type A and Type B are NOT valid personality types Instead, research supports the “Big 5” personality traits are openness , conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness , and neuroticism (OCEAN) . There is however a correlation between hostility and cardiovascular disease. Cancer 62% of those diagnosed with cancer are still alive 5 years later the best way to treat it is prevention (diagnosing early) Breast cancer is the top cancer for women Prostate is the top cancer for men Lung – 2 nd highest for both men and women Colon – 3 rd highest for both men and women
