When grading this paper in particular, I will have in mind your previous performance. In other words, look back at my comments and avoid making the same mistakes. ALSO, I will be looking for papers that are well organized. For this paper only, I'd like to try something to see if it helps your writing: At the end of your thesis statement, put the word (THESIS) in parentheses. Hopefully, this will help everyone keep in mind what it is he/she is writing about and how well each of the points made in the paper actually support the thesis. When revising, if your "supporting paragraphs" don't support the thesis, either get rid of them or change the thesis to encompass them. Also, be attentive to your transitions between paragraphs: ask yourself, "Is it clear why I'm moving from one point to the next?" If not, explain why--and then there you'll have a transition. 3) You can indeed focus on other aspects of the fim in lieu of the proposed question (as Jim mentions below).
