Rachel Dennen 10/1/14 Journal Day 1 For my first meditation I listened to some relaxing yoga music. I realized that I felt like I was being pulled to the ground. I also felt like that was because I haven’t been getting enough sleep lately. I also kept trying to keep my eyes closed but I was getting very distracted. I feel like I wanted to look and see how much time was left. It was really hard for me to just not do anything for 11 minutes. I have ADHD and it was late so I was really impatient. Hopefully I get more patient with this exercise every day! 10/2/14 Journal Day 2 For my second meditation I decided to try it with no music. This was a bad idea. I realized music helps me relax and so now from now on I will listen to music. I felt even more impatient today then I was yesterday. This meditation felt like it lasted like an hour instead of 11 minutes. I felt very uncomfortable just not doing anything. I always need to be doing something. 10/3/14 Journal Day 3 For my third meditation I decided to search kundulini yoga music on spotify. A playlist came up that I really liked. I did not want to look at my phone at all this time.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
