Log # 3 Philosophy of Education Reflective Writing Group Members: -Christine Potts -Ruth Taylor -Nicole Williams -Angela Norman -Shauna Banks -Latosha Morris -Torian Sauage -Jason Kierstead -Toni Coleman I think there are certain ways that teaching must be conducted and the teachers themselves must contain appropriate qualities to insure a good learning experience. Schools themselves, are designed to teach key foundations to be a successful person in society, and as well as provide an equal opportunity for learning, and I feel that teachers are the building bricks to hold up to most of these obligations. Studies show that students, depending on their age or just the general type of person they are, learn best in different ways. Usually the case in younger age-grouped students, they more effectively learn using their five senses, when play is involved, and imitation. I can also say that all age groups learn better when instruction incorporates all multi-intelligences; when there is interaction and
