Christine Potts Intro to Business Management 2:00-3:20 pg 71 Exploring the Internet I choose the credit card firm Capital One. On its website, it claims to creates “measurable, sustainable partnerships nationally and locally that result in strengthened families and vibrant communities.” Further into the website they go into detail on how exactly they accomplish this. As it is stated, they provide opportunities for today’s younger generations by helping fund day care and early childhood education, after school and literacy programs, and college scholarships because they believe it leads to a more financially promising future. Supporting low-income communities is also one of their primary goals in giving back to society. Capital One provides jobs, affordable housing, and also promotes small business development. This is what I concluded after looking over their policy statement which outlined their key areas of concern. Capital One pledges to match donations to colleges and universities (up to two
