There are four inspired books, the Torah of Moses, the Psalms (Zabin) of David, the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Injil) and the Qur'an. 6 Articles of Faith Prophets. The six greatest through are: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. Muhammad is the last and greatest of Allah's messengers. Afterlife. On the last day there will be a time of resurrection and judgment. Divine Creed (or Five Pillars) Pillars of Islam Shahada: Only one God and Muhammad is his prophet Salat: 5 daily prayers facing Mecca Zakat: Alms - 2.5% of income to the poor Sawm: Fasting. During the month of Ramadan (9th lunar month), a faithful Muslim cannot eat or drink during daylight Haj: Pilgrimage to Mecca Pillars of Islam ISLAM Branches of Islam: Sunnis (80%) several branches including American Muslims and radical fundamentalists Shiites sect in the Middle East who claim to be the only true followers of Mohammed Mahdi "rightly guided one" bring global leadership into being Sunnis and Shiites Prophets Noah Abraham Moses Jesus Muhammad ISLAM Jesus: ISLAM He was a good person, but just a man. He was a prophet, but not as great as Mohammed.
