I'm like any other teen-age girl. I love my friends, family, boys, books, and clothes, but there's more to me than that of course. To get deeper, I focused on one of those loves, books. I am an avid reader of any genre of books, but my main focal point is science fiction. What does this have to do with anything? Well, sometimes in life things get so hectic, school work piles up, family arguments arouse, and boys stop having cooties and thus become much more complicated. My savior, books! I can retreat into my room, plop down on my bed, and leave earth as we know it. I venture far into another universe in a galaxy far, far away, time travel to the time of King Arthur, or I even transport myself into a parallel universe! All of these, thanks to the wonders of the imagination. From the moment we were conceived, our parents read to us, played music on their swelling stomachs, and decorated a room with things to inspire our minds to work and dream from the second we were born.
