I think of the continuous and unchanging. I also think of Buzz Lightyears catchphrase “To infinity and beyond!” (which funny enough happens to be the title of the book). But never have I ever thought of the mathematical use of “infinity” which is defined as “a number greater than any assignable quantity or countable number. The idea of an infinity even being a thing is a fascinating topic. There are many references to the infinity in the scripture, maybe not directly but indirectly for sure. For example, Abraham is told by the Lord the he will have descendants that number the sands of the earth or how there are worlds that can’t be comprehended or numbered. The actual word infinity is only referenced once in the scriptures and that is D&C 109:77
