Cameron DelBenAmy RybakGSW 112017 February 2017The Technological InfluencePeople always speak of how wonderful technology is, yet fail to mention the huge problems attached. Technology and social media are rearranging the structure of society. These changes affect everyone in some way or another. Many have learned how to use technology beneficially, while others have not. Among those who see problems with social media are teenagers. These young minds are learning how to adapt in a changing world. Every day teenagers use social media. What kids do not realize is how it is truly impacting them. Technology is negatively impacting youth in ways they do and do not understand.Technology has its pros and cons. However, these effects teenagers experience are not exactly positive. Although these articles discuss different points, many similarities point toward the same conclusions. The excessive use of technology throughout the development of the youth is changing the way they behave. The non-visible effects are concepts teenagers cannot seem to grasp. The article “Why Kids Sext” discusses the huge sexting problems that many schools face. Half the problem lies in the lack of severity for kids sexting.
