Primo Levi was a young Jewish Italian man that joined the Resistant Movement and got deported to Auschwitz after getting captured. He described his experience living in prison. He unfolded how people were mistreated and tortured while had to work to the point of exhaustion, and the image of thousands of Jewish prisoners are sent to gas chambers of extermination camp. He also said that there was no compassion between people because it was the only tool for them to survive. Thus, this was hard for him to act like human beings. However, he was trying to get back the feeling of being human again. This book revealed the experience of Primo Levi, yet it also helped to imagine the experience of
