What is Letterhead? Letterhead can refer to the heading at the top of a sheet of letter paper, usually consisting of a name, address, phone number and any other pertinent contact information for the sender. This information may be enhanced with logos or graphics. Letterhead can also refer to the paper imprinted with this heading. In any case, letterhead should only be used for the first page of a document. Subsequent pages should be plain. Why is Letterhead important? First of all, letterhead should be an accurate source of information for anyone wishing to contact you. Along the same lines, letterhead can lend legitimacy to a document while providing information about the source. Secondly, letterhead may be the first impression you give. It should be a good representation of your personality and who you are. What is included in letterhead? All or some of the following elements may appear in letterhead. Name
